Rendere giustizia alla violenza di genere

Abstract

Siamo lieti di annunciare la pubblicazione della versione italiana del report sul seminario online “Rendere Giustizia alla Violenza di Genere” tenutosi il 29 febbraio 2024 in collaborazione con EquALL. Questo seminario è stato parte integrante dei progetti EUROJUSTICE e PRE-AND-POST – Trial Alternative Justice, co-finanziati dalla Commissione Europea.

Il seminario ha rappresentato un’importante occasione di formazione avanzata rivolta alla magistratura. L’obiettivo principale è stato quello di affrontare criticamente gli stereotipi di genere e di promuovere un sistema giudiziario più consapevole e sensibile ai temi della violenza di genere e della vittimizzazione secondaria.

Vi invitiamo a leggere il report per approfondire le tematiche trattate e per contribuire a rendere il sistema giudiziario più equo e attento alla violenza di genere.

PhD candidate in Administrative Law at LUMSA University in Rome, her research focuses on identifying the tools, challenges, and opportunities for promoting gender equality within Public Administrations. She is a member of the governing board of EquALL and of the association Terra Libera, driven by the belief that the encounter between generations, backgrounds, and diverse experiences is one of the most effective forms of activism.

Costanza Hermanin

President of EquALL, Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges and Assistant Professor at the European University Institute in Florence

Costanza Hermanin is a pro-European activist and a professional with experience as a teacher, civil servant, think tanker, and political leader. Throughout her career, she has worked for both governmental and non-governmental organizations. Her areas of interest are European Union politics and institutions, and public policy in the fields of justice, foreign affairs, and home affairs. She specializes in equality issues and is president of EquALL.

Luisa Pola

Lawyer qualified to practice before the Superior Magistrates' Courts - District Counsel for Discipline - Parenting Coordinator

The protection of minors, families, and vulnerable groups is at the heart of her work as a lawyer at the Treviso Bar. She believes in dialogue and discussion as opportunities for growth and views diversity as a chance to learn about and better understand the world. Being part of EquALL allows her to support equality and inclusivity, while promoting democratic pluralism and policies grounded in sustainability.
