ICT Enabled Public Services for Migration

The MIICT project aims to design, develop, and deploy ICT-enabled tools that support the integration of migrants through a co-creation process involving migrants themselves, public service providers, and NGOs. Responding to the multidimensional challenges of migration, MIICT addresses key areas such as employment, education, health, social inclusion, and access to public services.

The project recognises that migrant integration is shaped by a complex interplay of personal, cultural, institutional, and structural factors, including age, gender, legal status, education, autonomy, perception, and history. These dimensions highlight the diversity of the migrant experience and the need for tailored, context-sensitive digital solutions.By engaging stakeholders in a participatory design approach, MIICT seeks to bridge gaps in service provision, enhance accessibility, and foster inclusive digital governance. The project ultimately contributes to social cohesion and the development of interoperable, user-driven ICT systems that align with the needs of migrants and the operational capacities of service providers.
