Beatrice Sperotto

Beatrice Sperotto graduated in Law from the University of Trento, specializing in “Comparative European and Transnational Law,” where she studied national law with a particular focus on how the Italian legal system implements European integration and international cooperation. After graduating, she completed her training internship pursuant to Article 73 of Legislative Decree 69/2013 at the Office of the Attorney General of Venice, where she was able to deepen her legal knowledge in the field of criminal law and approach the main issues related to the prison system. After completing her internship, she began working with the Court of Appeal of Venice and the Agenfor International Foundation on the European projects REUNION and PRE-AND-POST, aimed at training magistrates in the recognition of judicial decisions at the supranational level and at creating a network of Italian judicial offices with the aim ofexploring issues relating to penalties and alternative measures to detention, both in the pre-trial and enforcement phases. She is currently involved in another European research project at the Court of Appeal of Venice on the European Arrest Warrant and extradition procedures.
