Study visit for VET teachers on digital and immersive learning environments

Abstract

This deliverable reports on the study visit organised for VET teachers and instructors as part of the VR DigiVET capacity-building pathway.

Hosted in Italy, the visit provided participants with a unique opportunity to experience innovative digital learning environments, including VR labs, training centres, and start-up ecosystems. Through hands-on sessions, expert-led activities, and site visits, participants explored how immersive technologies are applied in real educational and professional contexts.

The experience strengthened both technical and pedagogical competences, bridging the gap between training and real-world application. It also fostered knowledge exchange, inspiration, and the transfer of innovative practices to participants’ home institutions.
